iRest Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a guided form of meditation and self inquiry during which we observe, welcome, and engage various aspects of our waking existence as our body drops into deepening states of relaxation. 

It is an exploration of the interconnected layers or sheaths (koshas) of the body, starting with the physical body, and moving deeper through more subtle layers such as the breath, feelings and emotions, thoughts, joy, and awareness.

As we welcome everything that is present in the body and mind, our emotions and thoughts begin to grow calmer.

In the process, we discover and connect to the aspect of ourselves that is always peaceful and at ease.

iRest Yoga Nidra has been adapted to suit the conditions of modern life although it shares many basic principles and techniques with other forms of Yoga Nidra. iRest provides techniques to help you inquire into your current, unique experience of seeing, feeling, hearing, sensing, tasting, smelling and thinking. When practiced regularly - little and often - it enables you to meet each moment of your life with unshakable peace and wellbeing, no matter how challenging or difficult your situation.

iRest Yoga Nidra is offered in online group classes or in a one to one private session
